On Friday 26th April 2019, 17 girls from Years 7 and 8 travelled to Condover Hall in Shropshire to spend the weekend representing Lealands at the JCA Junior Netball Tournament.

Congratulations to the students who were nominated to enjoy hot chocolate and cake with headteacher, Mr Burridge during break time today. They were all nominated by staff for going above and beyond.

As part of our remembrance of 100 years since the ending of WWI, 40 students went to the battlefields of Belgium. We visited Essex Farm Cemetery and Tyne Cot Cemetery to pay our respects. It was a long and very cold day but we used the opportunity to remember the horrific conditions of war. 

Year 8 have been working hard collecting items for the homeless shelter over the last two weeks.
