Course content

You will complete a foundation course, gaining knowledge and skills across all the formal elements of art. These are the building blocks of creative work and include: colour, line, tone, composition etc. 
You will analyse artwork and gain an understanding of how artists and designers use visual language and formal elements effectively. 
You will complete practical and written work and use a range of materials and techniques, which will include: drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics.
