Year 9 Blue Peris Trip
On the morning of Sunday 13th November 2016, a group of excited Year 9 students eagerly departed on the annual trip to Blue Peris Mountaineering Centre in North Wales.
The week was full of fun outdoor activities which would challenge them and teach them important life skills, including; mountain climbing, gorge walking, sea level traversing, abseiling, mining and raft building. They all showed great team work and resilience to complete the tasks put in front of them, many built confidence and overcame fears.
It proved to be an extremely enjoyable and valuable experience for all involved. The students returned exhausted, but in great spirits, ready to transfer their new skills into the classroom. Well done to all the students and staff who took part.
